Look What Partnership Can Do!
In 2017, 2018, and 2019, Justin and I had the amazing joy of joining other ministry teams in Athens, Greece for a collaborative effort with a well known missions organization to minister to many refugees who had fled their war torn nations. This is a quick rundown of some the suit of that ministry effort.
“Yesterday morning we had a time of celebration with all 300 of us and shared some ‘statistics’ of what the Lord did through this amazing team. I thought you’d like to share in the joy!
Shared gospel- 2,027 times, Salvations- 45, Healings- 138, Significant encounters- 180, Reading the word aloud- 200 hours, Hours of worship- 12 hours in 2 days, Corporate worship times – 7 hours, Prayer room- 55 two hour sets, Intercession sets- 47 hours, Total 110 prayer room hours worship/intercession with 58 people involved on sets, lots of uncountable worship/intercession in the streets.
Building/remodeling projects in squats: We built a garden, lots of painting, lots of shelves built, we cleaned out a basement, we repaired a roof.
We ministered in 5 different refugee camps, we taught hours of English classes, our medical team of 7 people saw 50 patients and taught health classes, we hosted a mini-discipleship training for Afghans/Iranians.
Only with GOD! Isn’t He amazing?
What was Justin and my favorite moment? Well, moments really. All of the wonderful moments of worshiping Jesus together in Monastiraki Square, prayer sets in the church, and ministering to the addicted and lost in the Exarcheia District. We were able to lead several to the Lord and even baptize them in the Aegean Sea.
