“My wonderful brothers and sisters of Singing Feather Ministries see me for who I am as a beautiful child of God. Justin and Cindy love me as a brother.
They honor my song, they see my light, both given to me by our Father to help brighten and warm a cold world. They help me shine. Singing Feather Ministries helps many like me to shine. They are family. Oh!”

“In our 20 plus years of full-time ministry, we have never encountered another couple so devoted to the vindication, restoration, reconciliation and salvation of the Native People as Singing Feather Ministries. Their fight of the hidden and forgotten, the overlooked and the underdog through intercession, tangible acts of service, counsel, encouragement, and generosity has continuously provoked and inspired us! They are authentic lovers of Jesus with their whole lives poured out as drink offerings to the Lord.
Justin and Cindy and Singing Feather Ministries are good ground that has been cultivated with intention for decades and it’s an honor to call them comrades in the kingdom.”

“Justin and Cindy from Singing Feather Ministries are people I have grown to love and respect. Their love for Native Americans encourages me so much, for I am of Native decent and their love for indigenous people speaks so richly into my heart and life.
I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend Justin and Cindy and Singing Feather Ministries!”

“We met Justin and Cindy Butow with Singing Feather Ministries 17 years ago. We sat back and watched them for a few years before getting too close to them.
They came into serve the native community like so many others that want something or never follow through. After time, we saw their hearts and they were actually there to serve. We have become good friends and so respect and love them. We both have had medical issues, and all I’d have to do is post something on Facebook and Cindy would respond and let me know they were praying for our needs, healing, or whatever was asked for.
Lew doesn’t let people in very easily but has accepted Justin and Cindy as friends. Singing Feather Ministries is the real deal.”

“It is with deep honor and heartfelt appreciation that my wife and I endorse Justin and Cindy Butow of Singing Feather Ministries — a couple whose lives have been a living testimony of sacrificial love and unwavering commitment to the work of the Gospel, especially among Native American communities.
Their ministry has not been one of convenience, but one of calling. With humility, perseverance, and compassion, they have devoted themselves to serving some of the most overlooked and underserved populations with the message of hope, healing, and reconciliation through Jesus Christ.
In a culture that often values comfort and ease, Justin and Cindy have chosen the narrow path of service — often at personal cost — to build genuine relationships, disciple believers, and advocate for Native voices within the Body of Christ. Their ministry is marked not only by consistent faithfulness but also by a deep cultural sensitivity and respect that has opened many doors and hearts.
We wholeheartedly commend Justin and Cindy to you. Their work deserves not only our support but also our admiration. They are worthy of every opportunity to continue the vital Kingdom work God has entrusted to them.”

“I’m so honored to know Justin and Cindy Butow of Singing Feather Ministries. My late husband, Larry “Grizz” Brown was in ministry for many years with Justin and Cindy and spoke highly of them. With integrity and grace, they have worked tirelessly with many Native American tribes and communities.
I know that one of the most important things is to build and earn the trust of native people, and that only comes through relationship. Trust is earned and honor is given. They’ve earned the trust and received honor in many communities, reservations, and tribes.
They are now family, and I’m blessed to be part of this family.”

“Several years ago, our paths were brought together during a ministry assignment at YWAM in Mendocino, The Lord’s Land, and our hearts have been knit together ever since. Justin and Cindy Butow carry something rare — an unwavering love for Jesus and a fierce, yet tender commitment to Native peoples that humbles and inspires me.
They don’t just talk about reconciliation, healing, or revival. They live it. Their ministry, Singing Feather Ministries, is marked by presence, trust, and deep relational equity that has been cultivated through years of faithfulness, humility, and genuine friendship. These two are the real deal.
Their lives echo the heartbeat of the Father for the overlooked, the wounded, and the beautiful cultural heritage of the First Nations people.
If you’re looking for good soil to sow into — relationally, spiritually, or financially — I wholeheartedly recommend standing with Justin and Cindy. They carry the heart of Jesus in everything they do, and the fruit of their ministry speaks volumes.”

“We have known our brother and sister, Justin and Cindy, for over a decade. They have devoted and passionately served in native communities as Singing Feather Ministries and have brought good discipleship and mentoring in such ways that have enriched. They have brought much needed love from Creator to many different tribes across Turtle Island.
They have been with us at many large events and gatherings in Washington DC and many other states in the Northern areas, bringing worship, encouragement, and the love our Creator God.”

“If you knew my story, you would understand why I wholeheartedly endorse the ministry of Cindy and Justin Butow, the leaders of Singing Feather Ministries.
My spiritual journey began almost 50 years ago when I was invited to live with a Blackfeet Nation family on the reservation in Northern Montana. I met Alfred and Agnes Wells through their grandson Tinyman Heavyrunner and lived with them in the poverty and pain of the reservation for six months. They trained and nurtured me in my new-found faith, and I am forever indebted to them for the foundation they laid in my life.
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I was led back to my home city of San Francisco and served there as a pastor for over 33 years, but I never forgot the gift of faith that was given to me by the Blackfeet peoples.
This is why I feel so connected to the amazing work of Singing Feather Ministries. The First Nations peoples are one of the most underserved groups in our country. Their communities are ravaged by poverty, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse and educational problems.
In the face of these and other challenges, Justin and Cindy Butow have heard God’s call and established Singing Feather as a source of spiritual and practical blessing to these troubled communities. I am honored to endorse and support the Butows and their life changing work among the First Nations people.”

“When I first met Justin and Cindy Butow years ago at a First Nations gathering, I was very delighted to meet this couple.
I could see their joy and sensitivity of the spirit and having a heart of compassion to serve others. I have watched both Justin and Cindy, as leaders, serve First Nations and walk in humility, honor and integrity. They have joy in serving and lifting others up.
They have built true relationships with First Nations, being a great source of encouragement and a source of strength, as well as their faithfulness in continuing to be active in their passion to love His people.
They have a passion and sensitivity in walking with and serving First Nations communities to be a blessing in lifting up others, in any way they can, as a source of encouragement and love.
They have shared in our tears, and they have shared in our pain as well as sharing in our joy. Justin and Cindy walk in love and faithfulness as they follow Jesus.
It is a wonderful honor to be around Cindy and Justin when our paths cross. I am thankful for them both and Singing Feather Ministries, for all their support for the Body of Christ.”

“Justin and Cindy have truly paved the way for many others to come into the knowledge of our beautiful First Nations people. Their intercession and worship have prepared the path for true revival to take place, which includes reconciliation with the host nations of this land.
They’re patient, kind and compassionate. They’ve tenderly taken the time needed to build relationships and earn respect among our native communities. We’re so grateful to know them personally. Their commitment, and tenacity has opened doors for many other ministries, including ours.
We’re excited to continue in partnership for the glory of God and the salvation of many! His kingdom come!”

“I am so grateful and thankful to have connected to you and yours. However, I feel it’s more appropriate to say, “you and ours,” all of us together, connected heart to heart for Native Americans and all people. I’m grateful that during a key time for our native nation in Montana, Singing Feather was able to offer guidance and prayed for us as we were newly walking through something that you’d already walked through.
Your love and support during this critical time, has been a God-send and it is so strengthening and encouraging to lock arms, side-by-side in the Spirit, as we all continue to journey together to see Jesus receive His bride among Native America! God bless you all!”

“As long as we’ve known Justin and Cindy, (nearly 17 years) their hearts have been full of love and commitment toward the men and women of the indigenous tribes of North America.
Singing Feather Ministries’ vision is big and strategic, but it’s also individual and personal. They really take the time to build relationships of trust and friendship in the Native communities they serve-among Christians and non-Christians, from influential leaders to the hurting and in need.
We’ve learned a lot through our partnership with them.”
Director, House of Prayer Sacramento
“I’ve known Justin and Cindy for 25 years, and they are giving excellent leadership to Singing Feather Ministries. God is highlighting the First Nations people in a unique way as He is preparing California and the nation for a mighty move of His presence.
Singing Feather Ministries is carrying the heart of Jesus through prayer, integrity and power. I encourage you to support this ministry as the lost are being saved and discipled through true, loving relationship.”
Director, 222 House of Prayer
“I met Justin and Cindy while working with Syrian refugees in Jordan. They were the first ones to introduce me to a Spirit-led style of worship used in many Houses of Prayer across the world.
Now myself a founder of a House of Prayer, I look back to the friendship of the Butow family with gratitude and admiration. They have always been encouraging in professional and personal capacities. Wherever they go, they are a blessing. I can personally attest to that.
I hope you will cherish and value the ministry work of Justin and Cindy as much as I do. Much love from Lexington, KY”
White Mountain Apache, Director Singing Feather Ministries
“I honestly can’t speak highly enough about Justin and Cindy. From the very first moment I met them (which was some 11 years ago) their love and compassion was not just seen but deeply felt. I very quickly began to learn that it was flowing out of them from a deep well of compassion for all indigenous peoples.
Mind you at the time, I was inundated in my travels across North America with people who were quick to speak words of sympathy, and compassion regarding the atrocities of the First Nation’s people. But what flowed from the Butows was tangible and real. It was more than just “we’re sorry for … ‘ fill in the blanks. No, they spoke identity, sonship, kingdom, and most important, YESHUA.
All of these years later, it is very easy for me to testify of them that they have not changed or shied away from who they are and who they are called to. They are consistent and resilient. I am deeply honored to not only know them, but to be their friend.”
Crow Nation, Associate Leader, Arrow Creek International Ministries.
“I’ve watched Singing Feather Ministries from afar for years, quietly observing the heart and humility with which Cindy and Justin Butow carry their calling. But over the past season, I’ve had the honor of working alongside them more closely on several projects, and what I’ve experienced has deeply moved me.
Cindy and Justin carry a rare and beautiful love for First Nations people. It’s not performative or surface-level; it’s rooted in honor, humility, and deep spiritual sensitivity. In a time when Native communities are still grappling with the deep wounds of generational trauma, their presence feels like healing rain.
I believe they carry keys -prophetic keys – to unlock destiny and hope in places long forgotten. There is a strobe-like clarity to their prophetic gifting, a light that pulses through the darkness and points toward restoration. What they walk in isn’t just ministry – it’s a mantle. And it’s one our Native Communities desperately need.
I wholeheartedly endorse them, their mission, and the work God is doing through Singing Feather Ministries. They are voices of healing, and they are bridge-building in a time when that couldn’t be more vital.”
Comanche Nation
“I have been honored to know Justin and Cindy for over 11 years – both personally, and in Singing Feather Ministries. As a Native from the Comanche tribe, and also a minister, I’ve seen firsthand the hurt in our communities and reservations. A hurt that has sometimes been exacerbated by the very religion, and churches that were meant to help.
Understanding our culture and history is so important when it comes to being a “missionary” to the Tribal communities, and many do not see its relevance.
I first became acquainted with the Butows while working with ANNA – All Nations North America – and I immediately knew they possessed a graciousness, and a genuine love for Indigenous people of all backgrounds. They approach ministry with a humility that says, “I’m not here to teach YOU, I want you to teach ME”. This has allowed for so much healing and breakthrough in many reservations. They aren’t here for the stage – I’ve witnessed them cleaning yards, babysitting children, comforting elders, building houses – they are as real as you can get.
I stand by their example and gladly endorse their endeavors, as I know wholeheartedly, they are led by Holy Spirit.”
From "somewhere" in the Middle East
“We have been serving the Lord for over 19 years in different places in the Middle East and the exciting thing is that we meet people from different countries and cultures. We serve them and we see them come to Jesus the Savior and follow Him and take the initiative to share the good news about Jesus with others. This is the greatest treasure in our lives, and we search for it all the time.
We have been greatly encouraged by Justin and Cindy and Singing Feather Ministries. We have seen in you love and giving and hearing the voice of God.
You have influenced us and have helped us in our ministry. Everywhere we have ministered with you, you have always had a great impact on many of the people we serve. May God bless you.”
White Mountain Apache, Director First Youth Nations Movement
“It’s a great honor to give a testimony of Justin and Cindy Butow of Singing Feather Ministries. Many years ago, we met them through Julian Medel at a youth rally on the Round Valley Reservation. Our experience was a family devoted to the Native People and children, and our hearts were knit together from the first time we met there. Our whole team felt the same, and we knew they could be trusted.
Our elders would tell us stories of how people have been coming into our lands for 500 years, and we’ve seen no impact. But there are those whom God gives a special calling and who are willing to sacrifice and lay down their lives for God’s purposes. Throughout the years, we have seen Justin and Cindy impact the communities of our reservations.
They’ve been a part of our outreach team on the Pine Ridge Reservation, and we’ve seen firsthand the servitude they walk in. We witnessed their ability to be flexible and sensitive while working within a cross-cultural team.
Laboring together with them in our Native Country has been refreshing and encouraging. We thank them forever.”
Pastor of Blazing Fire Church Author of Always Loved: You are God’s Treasure, not His Project
“I have known Justin & Cindy for 20 years-many of those earlier years as their pastor. They have always been bright lights, flowing with the compassion of Jesus and the tenderhearted love of our heavenly Father.
Because love is meant to be shared, not contained, I watched with delight as Justin and Cindy ran with the dream God placed in their hearts to bring deep healing to the First Nations people through establishing Singing Feather Ministries. Though disregarded by so many, the Butow’s demonstrated that Native Americans have always been at the center of God’s heart and have never been forgotten.
The way you two have consistently rolled up your sleeves to wholeheartedly partner with God by sharing in their tears through the heartaches and by tangibly providing for their material, spiritual and emotional needs is stunning in its beauty!
Thank you, Justin and Cindy for faithfully demonstrating, as Jesus did, that every child of God has inherent worth and value. It’s this kind of compassionate love that changes the world and it happens most powerfully one heart at a time as you two do so well!”

“We’ve known Justin and Cindy for nearly a decade. Collaborative global assignments have given us multiple opportunities to observe and experience their leadership qualities, which are marked by humility and servitude. They both carry the Lord’s heart in their ministry of reconciliation. And combined with passionate intercession, they have made an indelible mark on the lives of many. The prayerful and practical impact of Singing Feather Ministries has brought and will continue to bring restoration to numerous hurting hearts.”
