The Compassion Series

“....Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.”

Real Stories. Real People. Real Generosity.

The Compassion Series is a collection of true stories from the heart of our ministry; moments when love met real need and hope broke through in quiet but meaningful ways.

Each story is rooted in relationship and demonstrations of love and honor. Respectful expressions of compassion shown in a good way, the Jesus way. We recognize the pain that has been caused by other religious organizations in the past, we respect the spiritual journey of those we serve. We come lightly, gently, and let our sincere love and friendship preach the sermon. We honor the ones in front of us, building trust, and building authentic relationships that feel much more like family, than just a preacher strolling through town. We lead by example, with practical and truly helpful assistance.

From building safe porches for elders, to delivering Thanksgiving meals with honor, to replacing an elder’s beloved Piki stone or filling a propane tank in the dead of winter. These are the moments that open doors, build trust, and where our words are bathed in meaning and truth.

This series is our way of saying: “This is what the compassion of Jesus looks like.”

It’s consistent. It’s faithful. It says, “Come as you are. You are worthy of His love. You deserve to be cared for through acts of mercy, wherever you are in your spiritual journey with your Creator, we’ll be your friends.”

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in the time of need” Psalm 46:1.

The Compassion Series is more than a record of what we’ve done. It’s a living testimony of what happens when we listen well, love deeply, and serve with integrity.

Each story is a glimpse into the calling we carry, to walk with our Native brothers and sisters in humility, honor, and hope. To be an example of the tangible love of God.

These are also outward acts of repentance before God. To change direction, to do something differently. In the very beginning of our ministry, as we were receiving prophetic instruction from the Lord regarding ministry to Indigenous people, He made it very clear; “Your repentance is not before them, it’s before Me. Listen, and I will lead you.”

Where others have come leaving a wound, we want to be repairers of the breach, a bridge, bringing hope and healing. Everything we do is in an effort to make some crooked things straight. All by the grace of God.

The Compassion Fund

Being the hands and feet of Jesus…

Across Indian Country, quiet emergencies happen every day. A family without heat. An elder without groceries. A mom without enough gas to get to work. A child going to school in shoes that don’t fit, or no shoes at all.

The Compassion Fund is our way of responding, and not just with words, but with love that is tangible. It’s just one way we show that Jesus cares and so do we. This is the proof that they really are not alone. We believe in keeping our promises, by showing up again and agian. This is how we walk out what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus, demonstrating that they are truly seen and not forgotten, and that there hardships matter to us and to God. We get to partner with heaven in “a very present help in the time of need”.

This isn’t one time help or surface level charity. It’s a relationship. It’s consistent. It’s being there for the people we’ve come to know and love, with food, clothing, housing repairs, baby diapers, vehicle maintenance, sports uniforms, and anything else we can do show the love of Jesus. Always with dignity, showing honor, and coming in a good way.

This fund allows us to respond quickly, personally, and prayerfully, led by the Holy Spirit and built on trust.

Compassion isn’t just meeting physical needs, but it’s also showing care to financial, relational, spiritual and emotional needs as well. Every act of compassion enforces trust and friendship, opening doors to a true sense of family and belonging.

This is the heart of God and the heart of our ministry.

As our partnership team expands, so does our impact. Will you join us in going into indigenous communities by becoming a vital part of our ministry today? Will you be the difference that helps us expand our capacity to serve more individuals and families?

Your giving fuels this kind of compassion, and turns it into real hope, healing and transformation, one family at a time.

“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?”

“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”
