Two Dreams
“I’m sharing again these two dreams that I had back in June 2018. I believe we are in a season of sifting and separating now. Lines are being drawn. What do we believe? What do we value? What are we hoping for, dreaming for, voting towards? Man looks at the outside, but God looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7. Time to examine our hearts…
Disclaimer: It might be easier to read the 2nd dream first if you are sensitive.
——Two Dreams——
I woke up a few days ago from a sobering dream. I didn’t share it with anyone because, although I felt it was from God, it was frightening. But this morning I woke up from part two of the dream and felt immediately that I needed to share with anyone who might listen. We all need to listen.
Dream #1
America was so very different. The streets were covered in black oil. The lakes and streams smelled like sulfur and the American flag was replaced with a red flag with a black goat on it.
I was watching the news, so much anger was manifesting. Images of fights, murder, complete mayhem. I turned the radio on and through the static I heard screams and cries. The announcer kept saying over and over, “I don’t understand. We got what we wanted. We got what we wanted. I don’t understand. We got what we wanted.”
I was suddenly in the mountains, and the trees were dead and grey. The lakes were almost dried up with algae choking everything that came to drink. Dead animals everywhere. Two men alone in a boat, stuck in the mud, mumbling, “We got what we wanted. I don’t understand. We got what we wanted.”
I was aware of how silent it was, with the exception of distant moans and screams. There were no airplanes or vehicles. Everything was stuck. Desperately stuck. The time of moving forward or reverting backward was over. In a nation with countless possibilities, we had brought ourselves to a hopeless place without options. We had made a final decision, on accident.
I woke up praying in the spirit. I woke up and repented for our nation. For those of us who “can”, we MUST repent for our nation. We must turn it around while there is still time to do it.
Dream #2
America. The sun was shining, birds were singing, the newly paved streets buzzing with activity. All kinds of new cars and bikes on the road. Sights I had never seen. Innovation. So many people laughing, smiling. A huge bus drove by with a banner, “Land of the free”.
I walked the streets for a while, not sure what city I was in, but it felt light. It felt new. I walked into a diner that was 50’s style and the tv was on. The news channel was abuzz with the Olympics. People were laughing and discussing how “narrowly we missed destruction”. “The grace of God intervened for sure”, said one newscaster. “Can you believe the opening ceremony!? The unity was unprecedented”, said another.
I was amazed and confused. It was nostalgic, but new at the same time. What had changed?
I walked back outside and I was in the forest again. Same lake. Clean, fresh, full, wild animals everywhere. Fawns bouncing in the tall grass. And then there were those men in the boat again. Fishing hats on, lines in the water, and a huge flag waving off the back of their boat. It was a blue flag with a white sheep on it.
And I knew.
Our nation and the world are entering into the “separation of the sheep and goats” season.
Two dreams. Two decisions.
No more games. We need to repent, pray, and take courage. People get ready. Jesus is coming.
Mathew 25:31-33
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.”
1 Samuel 16:7
“But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
Isaiah 55:6
“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”
